Fourteen houseguests would be sequestered into a house for ten weeks, having many conflicted personalities and attitudes. At the beginning of each week, players would compete for power over the house known as the "Head of Household" (HoH). The player that becomes Head of Household would be immuned for the week, as well as responsible for all the nominations, pre- and post-veto.

The following day, the HoH would determine who they would nominate for eviction and place on the block. The next day players would participate for a special power known as the "Power of Veto" (PoV). The Power of Veto can "veto" one of the HoH's nominees from eviction, whether by the nominees themselves, one of the three players chosen by random in the drawing prior to the competition, or the HoH themselves. The PoV holder can also decide to leave the nominations the same. If the Veto is used, the HoH would have to make a nominate replacement that cannot be the PoV holder, in the case it is one of the two nominees or the three houseguests randomly selected.

At the end of the week, the nominees on the block would have their fellow houseguests vote for who they want evicted between the two of them. One by one, the Houseguests would cast their votes, and once all the votes are in, then the vote total would be revealed to the players, and the houseguests with the most votes would be sent out of the door, unable to return to the game under normal circumstances.

Once the house count gets down to nine players, all the players evicted from that point on would become part of the Jury of Six. The Jury members would be the sole voters when the final two remain in the house. During the finale, the Jury will place their votes in, and the remaining houseguest that has the majority of the votes would be crowned the winner of the season.

The theme of the house was "The Game of Chess: Black v. White", which split the house in half, with seven users on the white team and the other seven on the black team. When a player from one team was HoH, their team would be immuned for the week and the other team would be vunerable for nomination. Halfway through the team, it switched around, where if a player from one team got HoH, they could only nominate from their team. The twist was reversed at the beginning of the fifth week.

Houseguests

White Team
The White Team consisted of seven players - Bop, FireEevee, Lily, LN1, Pyro, Smasher, and UltraMario. Between the two teams, the White Team were more successful, as the Winner and Runner-up were both originally from the White Team. In all, the White Team managed to snag eight Head of Household positions and seven Power of Veto victories. Notable members include Smasher and Lily.

Bop - Bop was not a well known player, being evicted by the second week. Though he wasn't around long, he almost managed to win the second HoH, which was part of the reason he was nominated. He was originally against Smasher before Nabber removed him from the block after the veto competition and named Lily the replacement. Bop was shortly after evicted, receiving only three votes to stay in the game. He became the first person to be evicted from the White Team.

FireEevee - FireEevee was a able to make it very far in the game. He stayed low in the beginning of the game, and was not very targeted, as he had fellow teammates looking out for him. When the teams dissolved, he stayed with his original grouping, and won his only Veto in the double elimination PoV competition. Since he stuck with his group, he was nominated alongside his fellow players, nearly being evicted against Pyro and UltraMario. He was evicted in the final six, when Shoey won the Power Player competition, and decided to evict him over one of his gang members.

Lily - Lily was the runner-up of the season. She was a very static character in the beginning, remaining low and out of the way. She was almost evicted during the second week against Bop. During the third week, she won her first veto competition, and first competition overall. Towards the second half of the game, she began winning multiple competitions, winning two PoVs and three HoHs. She won the most competitions in the season, with a total of seven, including her second win in the final HoH three-part challenge. She received two votes from Nabber, solely because she won more, and FireEevee.

LuigiNo.1 - More commonly known as "LN1", LuigiNo.1 did not last long in the game, but did manage to grab some notice. He was the first HoH, thanks to the success of his teammates. He was able to remain off the block the following week, but was nominated by Pyro during the third week. He failed to nag the veto, and was evicted by an almost unanimous vote, receiving a pity vote from FireEevee.

Pyro - Pyro was a great competitor and well known player in the game. He managed to win an HoH during the third week. After that, he laid low, not causing too much notice of him to others. It wasn't until the final eight (later pushed back to the final nine due to Nabber's return) that Lily won her second Veto, and he was the replacement nominee. It was mostly due to the slim pickings that was created from Pandora's Box, which briefly brought back the twist for the week. By a vote of everyone except Smasher, he was evicted from the game, becoming the first jury member.

Smasher - Smasher was the winner of the season. He was targeted from the get-go, put up on the block during the second week. After surviving the week, he wasn't nominated for the next few weeks, and managed to win his first HoH competition during the Double Eviction HoH competition. He was able to successfully evict Nabber, who had dodged a bullet more than a few times. The following week, he was given immunity from Shoey opening Pandora's Box and being brought to the black side for the week. From then till the end, he managed to win another two HoHs and three PoVs. Only counting the final three-part HoH as one challenge, he tied Lily with the most wins in the season. He won the season with five votes, mostly due to his likable personality and all his big wins he managed to pull.

UltraMario - UltraMario was a very low player, and was basically a "floater". He did not win any challenges and was never close to winning any. He was nominated several times during the first half of the game, and almost evicted right before the jury by Lily's vote (note that the eviction was void when Toad walked out of the house). He was again nominated in the final seven (later the final eight due to Nabber's return) and was evicted by all but Quizmo after being nominated for the third time.

Black Team
The Black Team was made up of seven players as well - Dry-Petey, Javelin, Nabber, NSM, Quizmo, Shoey, and Toad85. Between the two teams, this team was not as successful, but did manage to outnumber the White Team in the Final five after being outnumbered since the jury started. By the end, the Black Team pulled together Four HoHs and Four PoVs, as well as the Power Player title. Notable members include NSM, Quizmo, and Shoey.

Dry-Petey - Dry-Petey was a low-profile player, and managed to stay in the game for a few weeks. He did not make much of an impression on the other players, until he was nominated alongside Nabber, and later Quizmo when Nabber pulled himself off the block. Even though Quizmo had a penalty vote that week, Dry-Petey was still evicted by a close five to four vote.

Javelin - Javelin did not manage to stay in the game very long. He was the nominee replacement after Quizmo decided to use the Veto on NSM. He was pinned against Nabber on the block, and was evicted by six votes, when he needed no more than five to stay in the house. He was the first person from the Black Team to leave the house.

Nabber - Nabber was the most infamous player of the season. From the start in Week one, he was nominated and would have been evicted had he earned one more vote. He then won the second HoH by nearly edging in front of Bop, winning the veto, and getting of Bop in that one week. The fourth week he was nominated again, but won the veto, which left Quizmo to take his place. When the teams dissolved, he was nominated against his ally Toad85, who won the Veto and completely blind-sided him and threw up him the bus. He would have been sent home that week by Lily's vote, but Toad left the house right before it was revealed. He didn't survive much longer when he was evicted in the Double Eviction by an unanimous vote, barely making it into Jury. His run in the house wasn't over as Lily's Pandora's Box brought him back into the game. Even then, he was unable to get pass the week, being backdoored and sent packing by another unanimous vote.

New Super Mario - More commonly known as "NSM", New Super Mario was a very distinct player. He was nominated the first week, but managed to be saved by Quizmo's Veto usage. He wasn't nominated again for the following weeks, and won his only HoH during the fourth week. He remained out of sight for nominations as Dynamite Duo and his gang with Shoey began weeding out the non-aligned players. Once it was only those two alliances left, he was nominated and evicted in the Final Five by the Dynamite Duo on the White Team. He was well known for remaining on everyone's good side, and was evicted before the other people in his alliance due to his competition potential.

Quizmo - Quizmo was a very strong player in the season. He won the first Veto with ease, and saved NSM from eviction. He was nominated the fourth week as a nominee replacement after Nabber saved himself from the block. He was almost evicted that week as well, especially since he had a penalty vote for lack of response to the competitions. Right after his close call, he won the Endurance Challenge HoH, and almost sent notorious Nabber out the door before Toad decided to quit the game. He was out of sight for the following weeks as the floaters were weeding out of the game. He was evicted in the final four since the Dynamite Duo saw him as a bigger threat than Shoey.

Shoey - Shoey was one of the most well-known players in the season, and was quite the jokster. He was a very bad player competitive-wise, winning no challenges for the first half of the game. The thing that kept him off the block was his social aspect of his character, which was one of the best in the season. He won his sole HoH during the final eight, where he managed to send out Pyro from the game. He was nominated in the final six before it became the final seven with Nabber's return, but was safe that week when Nabber was evicted from the house a second time. He then won the Power Player during the end of the week, and decided to evict FireEevee from the game, even though he wanted to evict Smasher who was immuned for winning the Veto during the week. He was evicted by Lily in the final three, due to the Dynamite Duo's pact they kept between each other, and was the final jury member.

Toad85 - Toad85 was a great member of the Black Team before he left the game. He wasn't nominated - or won any challenges - until the fifth week. Quizmo decided to nominate Nabber and Toad, who were working together from the start of the game. Deciding that he didn't want to crash and burn with Nabber, he threw him under the bus and swapped sides to join forces with Shoey's gang. Nabber was not the one evicted that eviction ceremony as Toad85 decided to quit the game for personal reasons.

Alliances

In the User Big Brother game, it is very common and also expected of players to work together and form an alliance. Being in an alliance enables greater strength in numbers when it comes to voting, as well as give a player a greater chance at progressing farther into the game. However, working together can place targets on people's back, and can cause players to strive to evict them. Alliances can either make or break players in the game, and usually decides the outcome of the game.

Alliance Names:

  • Dark Duo - Nabber and Toad85 were a very tight group from the beginning, but was soon ditched when Toad85 decided to backstab Nabber under the bus. The reasoning was that Toad85 did not want to be dragged down by Nabber, who was being heavily targeted since Week 1. However, he had to leave the game, which ultimately pushed Nabber's evicted back by one eviction, barely earning him a spot in the Jury.
  • Shoey's Gang - Head of the group being Shoey, it also consisted of Quizmo and NSM, who all of them were originally in the Black Team. It was created a few weeks into the game, after the teams were split, and everyone was after Nabber. They were the last three members from the black team after Nabber, going against five white team members. They were rather successful, making it to the Final 5 together, but was consecutively evicted from that point.
  • Dynamite Duo - Smasher and Lily decided to work together from Week 1, which proved very successful. Much like the Dynamic Duo, they were one of the most successful alliances to date, making it to the final two together. In fact, from the Final 7 forward, they were the only ones that won the HoH and Veto challenges.

Notes

  • 1: The theme of the season was "The Game of Chess: Black v. White". As a result, the team that had a member as Head of Household would be immuned from nominations. The other team would have their members vulnerable to nominations, but they would be the only ones selected to play in the Power of Veto alongside the Head of Household and two nominees.
  • 2: Due to a twist, the team that had one of their members as Head of Household would be vulnerable to nominations instead, leaving the other team immuned for the week.
  • 3: Due to not participating in competitions, Quizmo earned a penalty vote, making the vote count total nine instead of eight.
  • 4: At the start of week and after the last eviction was the end of the chess twists. Houseguests were now individuals instead of teams, and the Head of Household could nominate any houseguest they wanted.
  • 5: Even though a Nabber was supposed to be sent packing with a close vote of four to three, Toad had unexpectedly quit the game, voiding eviction for the first half on the night.
  • 6: As another surprise to the houseguests, another person was going to leave the house in a special double eviction night. During the next hour, a HoH was crowned, two nominees were nominated, the Power of Veto was earned, a Veto Cermony took place, and then someone was evicted.
  • 7: Thanks to Pandora's Box, the original twist was brought back into the house. Since the house was split five white and three black, outgoing Head of Household Shoey chose to make Smasher a temporary black member.
  • 8: Thanks to Pandora's Box, Nabber was unleashed back into the House. Since he re-entered, he was unable to be nominated, but was eligible as a nominee replacement.
  • 9: Another double eviction takes place; however, there is only one competition that would declare the winner a "Power Player". The Power Player will have the sole ability to evict one person from the house, without any nomination or veto competition.
  • 10: Thanks to Pandora's Box that unleashed Nabber, Lily had the ability to either take the Power of Veto for the week during her reign or the following week's. Since she decided to use it the following week after her Head of Household reign, there was no Power of Veto competition.
  • 11: The final seven evictees known as the jury decided who would win the game - Smasher or Lily.

Trivia

  • This was the shortest User Big Brother game to date.
  • In one of the challenges, Smasher openly admitted that he found User Big Brother (first season) to be better, which, as Quizmo stated, "The host would never let him say that".
