The Resolutions of 132/0 - Intro

A./N. So, yeah. Here it is. The Trilogy was my first draft, REDUX was my second, and this is my final. This is 132. Now, this isn't the same thing you've read before. It's different this time. A lot different. So forget what you know about 132.

Now let me redefine it.

Introductions, introductions.

Well, I'm not really sure what to tell you about myself. I mean, there's my name, if that helps. It's Tabuu. Except...well, I'm not that Tabuu. I'm a clone of him, apparently. Yeah, I don't really get it, either. I thought I was him for the first few months of my life, too. I began life as an adult, really. But, after I seperated his persona from my own, I realized that I was still a child at heart.

I don't know who created me, or why, or for what purpose. I wish I could tell you, but I just don't know. So, I, living in the Wiki World, wandered around, trying to find out more about my past life. Eventually, I came to The Super Mario Wiki, which happened to have an extensive amount of information on my person.

Wait, shit, not my person, his person.

Oh, you get it.

I found it very enlightening, and, in the process, I met a really cute (and really sweet) girl named Grapes. She looked...well, kinda like your typical Princess Peach clone, to be honest. 'Cept her skin tone was a bit darker, she had a thick latina accent. and a lot of things about her seemed...violet. Including her eyes. Weird, right?

...well, I know I'm not one to talk. I mean, I'm the clone of some maniacal naked butterfly man thing. Who the fuck am I to be talking? Well, pointing out others' irregularities helps me ignore my own, I guess.

Like, I met this really short blue Yoshi kid today, in the Chatroom. I mean, what was his deal? He also had a different form- that of a human adult, with dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, white skin, and a strong, small form. Made me wonder why he used the Yoshi form so much. But he was a nice guy. Little weird in the head, but nice.

Don't like the way he talked to me, though. Like I was his best friend, or something. I hear he's like that with just about everybody. Still, being so friendly to someone you just met...eh, I just don't like it. I'm sure he's a great guy, but I just don't see how he can do that.

So, with joining the Wiki, you get a free apartment in an area of your choice. Since I'm...broke, I decided it was a good deal. However, when I walked into the main building to claim my apartment, I got a lot of weird looks. Here's what happened.

I stepped inside of the Main Building of the MarioWiki Apartment Complex. I began a walk to the front desk of the lobby. People, all of which seemed to have some kind of resemblance to a fictional character, gave me that single-eye-widened "what the fuck" look. At first, I ignored it, but by the time I had made it halfway across the black-and-white tiled floor, I looked around at everybody.

"What, never seen a blue guy before? Haven't you seen Tron?" One of them, a Lakitu in a cloud, came close up to me.

"Dude," he said, "I think it's more because of the fact that you're naked. Wait, are you even a dude? Because I sure don't see a dic-"

Something in me had snapped before he finished that sentence. It was like a wounded creature had come up within me, and spitefully said: Kill him! Defend your manhood, and fucking kill him!

I know I'm probably crazy, but I'm sure we're all mad here.

So, I whacked him in the back of the head before he finished, which sated the monster inside of me.

"Ow, what the hell!?" he shouted rubbing the back of his head, "you looking for a fight, blue balls?"

I put up my hands.

"Naw, no. I just...something made me do that, I swear. I didn't mean to." He looked at me blandly for a moment.

"I think that's called your ego, buddy. Here, wear this. No one wants to see you naked." He pulled something out of the cloud. A long, thick, black robe. Now, don't go asking why he had one of those, because I never found out the answer to that. I put the article of clothing on.

And it felt...right.

Like it was my destiny to wear it.

Like if I didn't wear it, it would mean death.

I know, I sound like a psycho, don't I? But hey, I think that's just the way life is around these parts. We're all mad here, like I said before. Oh, and that's an Alice in Wonderland reference, and if you don't get it, you didn't have a fucking childhood.

"Thanks, man...what's your name?" I asked.

"The name's Alex." he said, holding out his hand. I grabbed it, and shook it firmly. I nodded and smiled.

"My name is Tabuu. And no, not that one, even though I look like him. I'm kind of a clone."

"So you are him."

"I'm not! Well, I am, but..."

"Fuck you."

So, yeah.

I've been an official member of the Super Mario Wiki for a few weeks, and I gotta say, life is good. I got a good job over at the Userpedia District- a reviewer for The Disconnected, Userpedia's Monthly Magazine. The apartment I live in has been upgraded with a nice computer for editing the Wiki at home, a plasma screen TV sitting on a shelf in the corner with a Wii and PS3 hooked into it, and some necessary additions to the kitchen.

Like a fucking stove.

Cheap bastards.

Oh, and I also got a roommate. You would never guess who.

If you guessed Alex, then congratulations, you deserve a medal.

And if you guessed Grapes, oh, I wish.

Stooben Rooben's Point of View.

I was in my human form, walking down the street. I was in a thick coat against the icy wind, and it was dark in MarioWiki. A full moon shone brightly in the sky. Eventually, I found myself joined by a figure in hooded, black robes, who began to walk beside me.

"Does he remember?" he asked me.

I shook my head. "No. Not a thing. He has memory of his life as Tabuu, but he has no recollection of his life as Christopher." He sighed.

"That's a shame. Alex giving him his old robe didn't even trigger recollection?"

"I'm afraid not. He doesn't seem to remember us at all, Nalia. What do you think Evoltsul did to him?"

"The question is," Nalia said, "not what Evoltsul did, but what he didn't do. We know what he was going for. To bring back Tabuu, right? He succeeded, but not quite. In fact, I get this feeling that the reason he didn't succeed is that there's more than one soul fighting within our friend right now."

"But how, Nalia? You haven't explained this to me. He doesn't even have Christopher's body, and I doubt he knows about him at all. He hasn't touched Golden Fang, either."

"It's the numbers, Stooben," Nalia responded, "the numbers. 132. Everything about Christopher has to do with that number, and the same goes for our Tabuu clone. He's Evoltsul's 132nd clone, he's living in apartment room 132, and fuck, I wouldn't be surprised if the lab he was born at didn't have something to do with that number. I just get the feeling. He's...familiar. Is it a reincarnation? A resurrection? Just what is it?

"That, I cannot answer. But I know it's him, and I haven't been wrong yet. He just needs some time. Spend some time with him. Make him remember."

I looked at Nalia through his hood.

"Alright. I don't think it'll work, but I'll try. Maybe seeing some of the Great Twenty would help?"

Nalia nodded.

"Yes. Get Alex to show him his Scythe. And I'll be back in a few days."

"Back in a few days?"

"I'm going to visit Christopher's grave. I'm giving Tabuu Golden Fang. In his current state, his sanity couldn't handle that, even if we are right. So, I need you two to open up his mind a little. Before I give him his other half back. And make sure, beyond a doubt, that Tabuu truly is Christopher at heart. Because if he isn't, he will die the moment his fingers touch Golden Fang."

I nodded.

"Alright, Nalia. I'll do it. We're gonna get our old friend back, right?"

Nalia sighed.

"I hope so. If we can't, Golden Fang is going to have to find a different owner for what's coming. We need all of the Great Twenty Beasts and The Council united if we're going to stop the Mastermind Troll when he reawakens. A Great Beast by itself is powerful, but when all of them are united, it's only that force that would be capable of destroying Evoltsul for good. That's been the purpose of the Reaper Council since Junemarie, Christopher, Skell, and myself founded it. We have to kill him, at all costs. Only we can do it."

I coughed loudly.

Nalia chuckled. "We'll need as much as help as we can get, of course. But the Scythes themselves must all be united before Autumn. And then, we have to kill him before Winter, or he will truly be unstoppable. The Council is going to need everyone's help for this. You know some reformed trolls, right? Some of them may be useful. Like I said, all the help we can get. It's everything or nothing, and the latter is not an option."

I nodded yet again, and he waved his hand. A large, dark-blue portal opened up in front of us, and he stepped in front of it.

He looked back at me, and put his hand into a V. A peace sign?

"No," he said, as if reading my mind, "it's exactly what it looks like. A V. For victory!"

And then he stepped into the portal, then both he and his doorway were gone.

And I was alone on the sidewalk, left with the impossible task of recalling the spirit of a dead person through someone who may well have nothing to do with said spirit at all.

Man, the things I do for my friends.
